2019 Lightweight Grand Prix champion Tofiq Musayev, who came to Japan from his home country of Azerbaijan and climbed into the ring after two weeks of isolation.
Robert Satoshi Souza, who won the RIZIN in a row since August 2020 and got a ticket for the title match, although he lost the lightweight Grand Prix won by Musayev.
In the championship match held in the square ring of the Far East, Roberto Satoshi Souza became the first RIZIN lightweight champion due to the brilliant triangular choke of "Shin Jiu-Jitsu Magician".
The victorious Satoshi looked back on his own match and talked about his feelings and strategies during the match, while the defeated Musayev remained silent and returned to his homeland of Azerbaijan with renewed determination.
The title match that Satoshi had been longing for, and his crowning of the throne. It's now his late father's dream, Kazuo Misaki, Satoshi's second, reveals.
And even though Satoshi returns to his peaceful life with his beloved family, he vows to protect the belt he took and prove his own strength.
